Closer to Heaven LLC · CTH Media

Privacy
policy.

This is a one-person media and thermal-drone company on the Alabama Gulf Coast, not a data business. The short version: we collect what you hand us so we can answer you and do the job, it stays with the owner, we don't sell it or hand it to advertisers, and you can have it deleted by asking.

Who this is. Closer to Heaven LLC, doing business as Closer to Heaven and CTH Media, Foley, Alabama. Owner and the only person who reads this stuff: Brayden Biebricher. Email closertoheavenllc@gmail.com, phone (251) 223-6144.

When you fill out a form on this site

The forms on this site — the project intake at /start-a-project/, the construction intake, and the recovery dispatch form — collect only what's on the form in front of you. Depending on which one you're on, that's some combination of:

That submission goes to a Cloudflare Worker we run (named cth-intake), which does three things with it: writes it to our private Cloudflare D1 database, keeps a backup copy in Cloudflare KV storage so a submission can't get lost, and fires a push notification to Brayden's phone through Pushover so somebody actually sees it. On a recovery call that notification is the whole point — it's how a 10pm "my dog got out" reaches a human instead of an inbox.

Nobody else gets a copy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share form submissions with marketers, lead brokers, directories, or anyone else. The one exception is the obvious one: if you hire us and the job requires it, we'll use your contact details to do the job — send a quote, an agreement, or an invoice.

What the site itself records

The attribution tag

When you land here, a small script checks for a ?src= tag on the link or looks at which site you came from, and stores a short code (like fb, ig-main, or google) in your browser's sessionStorage under the key cth_src. It rides along if you later submit a form, so we know which post or listing actually brought somebody in. It holds no name, no identifier, and nothing personal, and your browser throws it away when you close the tab.

Analytics

Two analytics tools run on this site:

We also keep basic funnel counts on our own side — which version of the intake form you saw and which step you reached — so we can find where people give up. Those rows are counts and step names, not a profile of you.

There are no advertising pixels on this site, no Meta Pixel, and no retargeting tags.

Payments

Payments — deposits, invoices, and the ebook at /book/ — run through Stripe. Card numbers go straight to Stripe and never touch our site or our servers; we never see them. What we see is what Stripe shows a merchant: your name, email, the amount, and whether it went through. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy as a payment processor.

Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger

We run a private internal tool (our Meta app, CTH Social) that connects to our own Facebook Page and our own Instagram accounts. It exists so that a message about a lost dog at 11 at night doesn't sit unread. Here's exactly what it touches.

What it can access

It reaches nothing else. It cannot read your profile, your friends list, your other conversations, or anyone else's Page. It only ever sees a conversation you started by messaging us, or a comment you left on something we posted publicly.

Why

Two reasons, and only two: to reply to you, and to notify Brayden on his phone so a person picks the conversation up.

Automated replies are labeled as automated

A first reply may be sent automatically. When it is, it says so in the first line — it identifies itself as Closer to Heaven's automated assistant and tells you a person has been notified and will follow up. It never pretends to be a person. It never quotes a price that isn't already published on this site, never promises a time, and never closes out a conversation. Reply HUMAN at any point and the automation stops and a person takes it from there.

We don't message people who haven't messaged us first. We don't import contacts from these platforms, build mailing lists out of them, or use them for ad targeting.

How long it's kept

Comment and message data pulled in by that tool is kept for 90 days, then deleted. If a conversation turns into an actual job, the details we need to do that job and keep our books move into our normal client records and are kept as long as the law requires for business and tax records.

Email closertoheavenllc@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my data" and tell us how to find you — the phone number or email you used on a form, or the Facebook or Instagram name you messaged us from. If it helps, say which one you mean; if you don't, we'll find everything tied to you.

We'll delete it within 30 days and email you back to confirm it's done. That covers form submissions in our database and backups, any stored Facebook or Instagram comment and message data, and any contact record we hold. No charge, no account needed, and no hoops.

The only things we can't delete are records we're legally required to keep — invoices and payment records for tax purposes, and anything a signed contract obligates both of us to hold onto. We'll tell you if that applies.

Two things we don't control and can't delete for you: your own copy of the conversation inside Facebook or Instagram (delete that in the app, and you can also remove our app's access under Settings → Apps and Websites), and payment records held by Stripe as the processor.

You can also just ask what we have on you, at the same address, and we'll tell you.

What we never do

Kids

This site and our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you think a child sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.

Security, in plain terms

Submissions are stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure and in accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and they're read by one person. That's honest rather than impressive — no system is perfect, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. We keep what we need and not more, which is the part that actually reduces risk.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update it here and move the effective date at the top. Anything that meaningfully changes what we do with your information gets called out, not slipped in.
